Finding Elizabeth
When they got to Sandy, Utah, people recognized “Immanuel” from the show, and immediately called The Sandy Police. When the police found the trio, they had asked them what their names were, and Elizabeth had first told authorities that her name was Augustine Marshall. She was still afraid of the harm that Mitchell could inflict on her. But the police reassured her saying, “Elizabeth, you’re safe now. Your family needs you,” and they took her away from Mitchell and Barzee and into a holding cell to await her real parents’ arrival.
