Moving On With Her Life
Despite everything that Elizabeth had to endure, she went on to live a wonderful, and better yet, happy life. She was able to finish school, and pursue her love of music at Brigham University in Utah. After graduating, she went on to start the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, which hopes to teach children about violent and sexual crime. She has made it her life mission to educated young kids about abuse and how to deal with the aftermath. She wants to ensure that anyone who has undergone sexual abuse knows that they are “not damaged goods,” and that they are worthy of love.
