Back Where She Belongs
Elizabeth’s father recalls the amazing day that he received a phone call from Detective Parks who worked for the Sandy Police Department. He said it came at around 1 p.m. and they told him that they believed they had found their daughter who had been missing for 9 months. When they arrived at the station, Elizabeth’s mom demanded that Elizabeth be allowed to come out of the holding room to see them. They couldn’t believe their shock and happiness when it really was their Elizabeth. Her father says he grabbed her, not being able to hold back his tears and thought to himself, ‘Thank you! What a miracle this was. What a blessing that we would be able to have our daughter back.’
