The notorious death of Notorious B.I.G.
1997 also saw the death of one of the hip-hop’s biggest stars – Christopher Wallace, also known as the Notorious B.I.G. Before his death, his name got involved in the murder of Tupac Shakur, although he was later cleared of suspicion. Wallace was murdered on the night of 1997 after attending a party following the Soul Train Music Awards. He was shot while in an SUV. He was declared dead at the hospital. The motive of the murder and who shot Wallace are still unknown.
