Strangled to death in a bathtub – Georgette Bauerdorf
In 1944, 20-year-old oil heiress Georgette Bauerdorf was found dead in a bathtub in her home in West Hollywood. She was apparently strangled with a towel. Her jewelry and other precious belongings were left alone. The case remains a mystery to this day.
