What happened to Sir Harry Oakes?


In 1943, American-born British Sir Harry Oakes, who owned a gold mine, was found dead inside his Nassau mansion. The Duke of Windsor brought in two Miami detectives, instead of bringing in authorities from Scotland Yard. Oake’s son-in-law was arrested but was acquitted after proving that the detectives made up the evidences against him. The real killer was never uncovered.
