Never Give Money As A Gift
Don’t give money as gifts or presents to the host when you get invited for dinner, or as a gift to their child’s birthday as the only ones allowed to do that are those the family consider to be close to them. Exert effort in wrapping the gift and don’t hand it over in a bag as this is considered lazy or not giving much thought to the gift, which can lead to the feeling of receiving nothing would have been better. Money is acceptable as a gift only during wedding parties, where you hand it over to the newlyweds when saying your congratulations.
