Don’t Call Or Refer To Someone As Black
Don’t come off as a racist or discriminatory by referring to someone as “black.” Dutch people come from different backgrounds, whether as immigrants from other countries, or refugees from other nations and as such will have different skin colors. Referring to someone as black is considered offensive and discriminating. If you need to refer to someone’s color, better to say light or dark-skinned, or other accepted descriptions like African, Caucasian, Arabic, or Asian.
