Don’t Just Wave Hello
It may sound strange but when greeting someone, don’t just say hello. Germans shake hands when greeting each other for the first time, as well as when you are saying goodbye. Of course if you are with a large group of people, then your goodbye can be a simple adieu. But if the group is quite small, you should shake everyone’s hand to say goodbye properly.
