Don’t Mention Money
Don’t mention money or ask how much someone makes for a living. For Germans, they believe that how much they have paid for their car, their home, their children’s education, etc. is just impolite. Of course when you are close friends, this might be normal conversation. But never ask this of someone you just met, or maybe happen to work with. It isn’t any of your business anyway.
