Don’t Switch Up Your Utensils
In Germany, the locals use their forks in their left hand while they keep their knives in their right, and they never switch them up. If you want to eat as the Germans do, use your right hand to cut your steak and by goodness, don’t hold it so tightly that it looks like you’re afraid it’s going to try to escape. If you’re not comfortable this way, just go back to your regular eating habits so that you won’t bring unnecessary attention to yourself.
