Don’t Wear Shoes Inside Someone Else’s House
In Germany, quite a number of households prefer to not wear shoes inside the house. Why would you want to bring the dirt and grime from outside the house be brought inside anyway? When visiting someone else’s home, be sure to notice if this is the rule before wearing your shoes inside. And don’t be offended if they actually offer you a pair of house slippers to use.
