Don’t Only Surf In The Ocean
There’s a river in Germany known as the Isar, which runs through the Englischer Garden. It’s a small channel of water known as Eisbach that has rolling ice-cold water that continuously flows all year round. It was illegal to surf there until 2010, but surfers had been going anyway since the 1970s. Don’t try it if you’re not an experienced surfer though, the swift waves will knock you off your board faster than you can say Eisbach.
