13. Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B is an inflammation of the liver caused by the hepatitis B virus. Its most common spread is through contact with bodily fluids such as blood, vaginal secretions, saliva, and semen. Symptoms of Hepatitis B are similar to Hepatitis A, their differences mainly lie in their mode of transmission but in addition to that, Hepatitis B increases the risk of liver cancer and liver failure in people suffering from it.
Many people with Hepatitis B live with the infection without knowing they have it. The best way to prevent Hepatitis B is to get vaccinated for it.
