22. Functional Dyspepsia
A chronic disorder that involves having the feeling of something moving inside the upper part of the stomach, is called Functional Dyspepsia. FD is characterized by a feeling of fullness after eating coupled with epigastric pain. Patients with Functional Dyspepsia have no underlying abnormalities that can explain the sensation they experience are often treated symptomatically.
