Retiring In 1980

By the time that Rocky retired from his NFL career, his statistics read ‘3,865 rushing yards, 136 receptions for 1,294 yards, and 25 touchdowns.’ He would even go on to be given the title of ‘Fourth all-time leading Rusher’ for the Pittsburgh Steelers. And throughout this time, Rocky would get married twice and have 4 kids, 2 biological and 2 adopted.

Becoming A Motivational Speaker

People were so inspired by Rocky’s story that he ended up becoming a motivational speaker ‘on retirement and financial management’ after his NFL career was over. He would also author another book, after the success of his first one. And he had an immense number of admirers, many of which were other veterans who had made it home from the number of wars the world has seen.
