Excelling At Football

Before graduating from high school in 1964, he not only played on the high school football team and led his team to numerous wins as their team captain, where he played the role of running back. This would end up helping him get into the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, where he would pursue a degree in Business Management.

Praying For A Solid Football Career

While Rocky was a star player in high school and college, things wouldn’t be as easy for him when he was drafted in the NFL in 1968 when he had graduated from Notre Dame. For the football scouts, Rocky wasn’t showing the kind of power and speed that they wanted for their all-star teams.
