Rocky’s recovery from his leg injuries would take over an entire year and a half. While he hadn’t been able to put his skills to the test just yet, he was going to get the surprise of his life when it would seem that the doctors were right. His legs were weak, his running was horribly awkward and painful, and his resistance was completely off the mark. He was going to have to fight harder than he ever fought before if he was going to make it back to his place on the Steelers.

Refusing to quit, Rocky would undergo rigorous training, something that he himself had enforced on his body. He began to jog, he lifted weights to gain back the 30 pounds that he had lost during his down time, but he was still so far from where he needed to be. And yet, he kept working on his form.
