The Storm Wasn’t Over
That night, the blizzard came back at tremendous strength. In fact, it was so powerful that it had gusted winds so strong that Beck was forcibly thrown out of his sleeping bag, which is how he was found the next morning. It seemed crazy to most, but he was a walking marvel, having basically come back from the brink of death. When the others found him up and about, they gave him two liters of tea, and with help from a few other mountaineers, he was able to go down to Lhotse Face.
