Another Helicopter Arrives
When the helicopter flew off, Beck believed that all hope that he would be rescued on that mountain had been lost as well. Then 5 minutes later, he heard the swoosh of helicopter wings and he shares, “And then I heard one of the most beautiful sounds ever – the whap! whap! whap! of a helicopter.” With zero hesitation, he was helped into the back as soon as it landed, ready to be finally whisked off Mount Everest forever.
