The Miracle

There was media frenzy when the boys returned home. It was, what they dubbed as a wonderful miracle. However, the 14 years in captivity affected Stayner the most. He had changed but life was never normal for him ever again. In fact, he struggled a lot despite being surrounded by the family who loved him unconditionally.

The Trial

The police suddenly gathered evidence and handcuffed Parnell. During the trial, the boys had to go on record to talk about their captivity. Even Poorman testified and said how he was bribed and threatened. He couldn’t talk about the kidnapping. Otherwise, Parnell was going to hurt his family. And so for years, he kept mum until the escape.
