Getting Caught

By the time that the boys were caught, there were 25 reported acts of sabotage that they were able to complete, some of which included getting their hands on weapons and making their own explosives. The boys were sentenced to two to three years in the Nyborg State Prison, but what they were able to accomplish was an incredible feat of bravery up to this very day.

Number 9: Helmuth Hübener

Helmuth Hübener, whose very own grandfather happened to be a Nazi supporter, was once himself a part of the Hitler Youth. But as time transpired, he soon began to see the truth after hearing on BBC what was really going on, and could no longer sit back and do nothing after hearing the truth on the radio.
