Opposed The Hitler Youth

Most of its members were young boys and girls between the ages of 14 to 21, and all of them opposed the Hitler Youth, not wanting to conform to the ways required of them because they were of Aryan race. But moreover, they opposed the entire idea behind being forced to dress in uniform, have to march through the streets, even have to cut their hair all the same way.

Forced Into Concentration Camps

Eventually, the Nazi leaders began to see them as a threat to what they were doing, making a statement of not having to follow their rules and regulations. They ended up arresting over 300 youth, sending the girls to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp, and the boys to Moringen. They believed that if they forced them to do hard labor and routinely brutalized them, they would get beaten into submission all because they refused to conform.
