Christian born and raised Diet Eman, was living in The Hague, Netherlands, when the Nazis came in 1940 and took over their country despite claiming that they weren’t part of the plan. Almost immediately, she and her fiancé began a revolution against Nazi Germany, attempting to do what they could to help evade Hitler’s horrific proclamations.

Like many other media channels, BBC was considered one of the forbidden radio channels since they were reporting on the atrocities of the Nazi government. This way, Eman and company would know what the Nazi movement was, and attempt to counter their actions. Their group also sought to find hiding places and attain fake identification cards to help keep people out of concentration camps.
