While Judas Priest is known for their hardcore heavy metal band and insanely rowdy fans, what may not be known is the fact that their singer-songwriter, Rob Halford, is actually gay. The story about his coming out actually happened during an MTV interview back in 1998 when he shared, “I think that most people know that I’ve been a gay man all of my life and that it’s only been in recent times that it’s an issue that I feel comfortable to address, and an issue that has been with me ever since recognizing my own sexuality.”
