Lance Bass
Considering that Lance Bass is one of the guys in the beloved 90’s teen boy band ‘NSYNC,’ he felt the need to remain in the closet about his true identity for most of his career, something that he himself called “torture.” Bass was afraid it would affect the rest of his band mates and their future in the music industry if he said anything. When he finally did come out, many people questioned why he took so long and he explained that, “The thing is, I’m not ashamed – that’s the one thing I want to say. I don’t think it’s wrong, I’m not devastated going through this. I’m more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life. I’m just happy.”
