Even if he had never actually said it at the time, it would be pretty impossible to not know that 2nd runner up of American Idol Season 8, and incredible vocalist Adam Lambert, wasn’t actually gay. The highly talented singer explained, “After ‘American Idol’ for a year it was all anyone wanted to talk about in the media. Part of me was like this is cool, this is important and I’m comfortable with my sexuality. But it also became weird because I was like I also sing, and I have a record that I’d love you to hear. It was tricky to balance it.” Of course fast-forward a decade later, he even made a cameo in the Freddie Mercury bio-epic, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ as a trucker / love interest of Freddie, and it was awesome.
