While the actor in ‘Love, Simon’ Joey Pollari may not have known that he was gay at first, it seems that his friends and family did. According to Pollari, who finally came out to those closest to him when he was 18, “I think all my friends and family knew on some level. I think maybe two people were shocked. My mom knew. She laid hints for me everywhere. The only part that was difficult was me coming out to myself.”
