Unsealed Search Warrants Uncover Crucial Evidence
On the 19th of July, four search warrants were unsealed at the request of a state appeals court judge. The warrants revealed crucial evidence in the case, including a stun baton, blue latex gloves, and a suicide note allegedly written by one of the defendants. The detectives also detailed a timeline of text messages sent between the victim and the defendants. There were many pieces of evidence taken from Maraglino’s home, including duct tape, saws, and a nylon rope that had Brittany’s hair on it. There was also a list of “slave rules” and a “slave contract” that revealed the trio’s bizarre and debauched arrangement. The San Diego County Crime Lab technicians confirmed the blood from the latex gloves and stun baton matched Brittany Killgore’s DNA.
