Married Too Soon
Cory Killgore was the first boy Brittany ever dated. She was in her late teens when she and Cory met, and they hit it off with their quirky sense of humor. The Wrests were happy because their daughter was finally going out and having fun. Only a few months later, the young couple started talking about getting married, and on the 17th of July 2010, they tied the knot. According to family and friends, Brittany was the happiest they’d ever seen her. It was like a fairy tale, and Brittany had found her happily ever after. However, soon after they got married, the newlyweds moved to Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California. Brittany’s parents were not happy about it, but they found comfort in knowing that Cory was joining the Marines. They would be in one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the country, and they felt their daughter would be safe out there.
