Murder Trial Begins In 2015
In September 2015, Brittany Killgore’s graphic murder trial began and was avidly followed by the public. The three defendants pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, torture, and murder. The district attorney stated that Brittany was kidnapped and forced into a sexual bondage and torture session before she was killed and dumped near Lake Skinner. It was clear to the jury that Brittany was tricked into getting in Perez’s car, with the intention to take her to Maraglino’s home and not on a dinner cruise. The prosecution just needed to prove there was a conspiracy, and all three played a part in Brittany’s kidnapping and murder. Numerous witnesses testified that what happened was a dark fantasy all three defendants shared, but they took that fantasy too far, resulting in Brittany’s death.
