F-You Pikachu

Pikachu, the adorable yellow Japanese character of the wildly popular game Pokemon, is based on a squirrel, as strange as it seems. Pokemon are basically characters that are ‘trained’ by humans to fight other Pokemons in the Japanese created game. This particular Pikachu toy has become known as the F-You Pikachu, all because it has sensors on it’s feet, which make it’s cheeks light up and shout “Pikachu!” But if held down too long, it let’s out quite a loud “F-You!” hence the name. This is one toy both kids and parents alike could get a kick out of, even if no parent will ever admit it.

Rad Repeatin’ Tarzan

What kid didn’t like the jungle-lovin’, long-haired, half-naked man in the classic Disney movie ‘Tarzan,’ who also happened to be so cool because he was raised by wolves? When Disney released the cartoon in 1999, doll-making company Mattel was quick to make their own version of it and named him ‘Rad Repeatin’ Tarzan,’ where he lifted his right arm in a quick up and down motion while making wild jungle sounds just like Tarzan is known to do. Parents were quick to notice though that not only was his hand moving right over his crotch, suggesting he was doing something every boy should really do in private, he was also screaming as though he was having the time of his life. Plus the fact that he’s almost naked didn’t help either. No surprise there that the doll was recalled due to his “suggestive hand motion.” <
