While the idea behind a Sky Dancer was one little girls being able to enjoy watching their pretty dolls flying around in a swirl of motion and delight, they were really setting things up for disaster. For those young ladies that were ‘lucky’ enough to get one, over 100 of them complained of ‘black eyes, welts, and nasty bruises. While the toy was recalled, they were never truly banned from the marketplace, but parents knew better than to get their tiny darlings one of these.

 Super Soaker Oozinater

Just like water guns, Nerf guns, and all sorts of other guns that boys love to play with, another one was created called ‘Super Soaker Oozinator.’ And while its brother super soaker gun is one that’s just filled with water, this particular one is filled with ‘ooze.’ It’s sticky, colored, slimy, and really, it reminds adults of something else entirely. Once these boys reach puberty, they may not really enjoy soaking their friends with these things ever again.
