Painkillers are Rampant
The lifespan of professional football players is shorter sadly because of serious drug issues within their ranks. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) made several surprise inspections at the NFL stadiums across the country and the results were pretty much what everyone knew. Nonetheless, the NFL refused to acknowledge that prescription drug use is running rampant throughout the NFL and that players abuse medication.
