Charles Bidwell, a famous gambler in the 1920’s had ties to the elusive mob. No less than Al Capone himself. Bidwell financed the Chicago Bears in the 1920’s then later buying the Chicago Cardinals. The Bidwell Family still owns the franchise of the Arizona Cardinals.
