Cover Ups
The numerous attempts to cover up the prevalent CTE cases caught up with league. Recently, the Supreme Court approved settlements between the NFL and a number of players, forcing the league to shell out around a billion dollars over the next six decades to players with brain injuries. Sadly, scientist predict that a third of retired NFL players will come down with same grim brain disease, whether that be Alzheimer, dementia or in some extreme cases, the terrifying ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease. A huge price to pay for covering up the hazards of head traumas.
