Bogus Cancer Drives
Every October, the NFL sets-up tons of pink in every corner of their stadiums, from towels to uniforms to merchandise, in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Perhaps, it sounds like a grand gesture to help clean up its image? However, the league got busted on donating merely 11 percent from the proceeds that were raised from the cancer drive. Most of the money were appropriated to pay for those manufactured all-pink items aside from the league’s cut of 1.25 percent from the pink pie.
