Big League, Big Business
Every single American sports league is a billion-dollar enterprise and the NFL is sitting on top of a bigger pile of money with the football league pulling in over $ 13 billion in revenues for a season alone. However, since it is big business, league owners want to make even more with a decade plan to reach incremental revenues to the $25 billion benchmark. That being said, it seems that the league owners are not willing to spend more where it counts. For instance, teams need better locker rooms, better trained medical staff, and based on everything that transpires off the field, the league could appropriate funds to better train players on how to conduct themselves and provide aid to struggling retired players.
