CTE Problem Continues
As of 2013, a staggering 228 players suffered from concussions and the numbers continue to rise. As of late, active and retired players, went to the extent of committing suicide due to the effects of constant head trauma and subsequent conditions it causes. Athletes such as Dave Duerson and Andre Waters are just two cases of former NFL players that took their own lives because of unaddressed brain injuries.
