Parades Around Town

The town even held parades in honor of the plant, and posters of Lenin could be seen on the trucks which would pass through the town. This particular truck in the picture even had a copy of the reactor control room on it for all to see. People were excited for what this plant meant for them, but there was no way they could know of the horrors that were going to befall them not too long after it was built.
