Hospital No. 6
The first few men who answered the call for fire fighters were sent to Hospital No. 6, which was a ‘specialist radiation hospital in Moscow.’ And soon enough, they wouldn’t be the only ones to feel the effects of the radiation. As time went on, others that were also exposed to the radiation from the Chernobyl Disaster would share their side effects as well. While supposedly radiation has no taste, most claimed there was a metallic taste in their mouths as soon as they were exposed, proving just how high the radiation levels were.
