The Sarcophagus
This is also when the Bio-Robots, or what they called the men who were removing the reactor debris, began work on what would be known as the Sarcophagus. This makeshift building was going to seal off Reactor 4 from the rest of the world for at least 20 years, the estimated time they thought they needed to keep the radiation at bay, until they could figure out an even more permanent solution down the line.
