10. Fatigue and Weakness
Almost 80% of people with Multiple Sclerosis complain of weakness and fatigue that couldn’t be explained. Chronic tiredness happens when the body’s internal defenses (immune system) attacks the spinal column, which is the main connection between the brain and the rest of the body. When this happens, the signals coming from the brain are hampered, making it difficult for a patient to move freely and with ease. Oftentimes, the fatigue starts with the legs, appearing suddenly without warning, and lasts for days and even weeks.
