Studies have reported that almost 50% of people with MS will develop a form cognitive deficit, the first of which is memory loss. As the debilitating disease slowly destroys healthy nerve structures within the brain, more and more of their higher functions will start to dwindle. Oftentimes, these lapses in memory are mild but can still be quite irritating even if they don’t really interrupt daily life.
