2. Eye Pain

Another symptom of MS is eye pain, again a result of the body’s immune system mistakenly attacking the optic nerve causing it to swell. This swelling of the optic nerve, also known as optic neuritis, is often accompanied by pain which could initially be described as a slight discomfort, increasing in intensity as the inflammation remains active.
