13. Difficulty In Walking
Difficulty in walking, also known as gait problems, is also a common complaint among MS patients and could be caused by different factors. Tightening of the muscles used for moving the legs, severe numbness, fatigue, and weakness and balance problems contribute to a patient’s inability to move around properly. Studies have shown that almost 70% of patients with MS have reported falls due to their impaired ability to keep themselves upright while walking.
