One of the bowel problems encountered by Multiple Sclerosis patients is constipation, or the inability to pass stools regularly. The decreased movement in the patient’s bowel comes as a result of a disruption in the signaling system between the brain and the intestines, causing a slowdown in the expulsion of waste from the digestive tract.
