9. Attacked and dragged by a zebra

Who would have thought that the gentle zebra would do unspeakable things to humans? Zebras rarely get aggressive towards humans, but when they do, such as what happened to one at the Chimelong Safari Park in Guangdong, China, things could go terrifyingly wrong. In a gruesome incident, a man named Li was attacked by a zebra for an unknown reason. It seems that even the gentlest among the wild animals could do horrible things when provoked.

The zebra may have been agitated. Its powerful jaws clamped on the man’s arm as it dragged him into the bushes. It took a while before the zookeepers rushed to the man’s rescue. Eventually, the man was freed and only suffered some minor injuries.
