21. Pinned down by a lion

Here’s another unfortunate story involving a drunk man who found himself in the company of a wild animal. Twenty-two-year-old Lucas Tomas had too much to drink when he snuck into a lion’s pen at a Buenos Aires Zoo. He went inside to attempt to get the animals to fight him, in a bull fighting style. He removed his jacket and proceeded to taunt the lions with it. He did succeed in getting the lion to accept his challenge. But what happened next made him regret his terrible mistake.

Because he was under the influence of alcohol, his judgment was clouded as he proceeded to challenge the mighty beasts even more. However, he was overpowered by one of the animals and bit him in the neck before the beast was knocked down by a tranquilizer. Fortunately, he lived to tell about his stupid blunder.
