5. Injured from fighting a female bear

Bears are mighty mammals that have incredibly powerful jaws and limbs. Picking a fight with one is like attempting to stop a freight train in its tracks. But somehow, some humans thought that with sheer bravado, they could tame bears. At a Warsaw zoo, a 32-year-old man decided to pick a fight with a female bear called Sabina. It was unclear how the man ended up inside the bear’s enclosure. Luckily, he survived but with injuries caused by a bite to his arm.

As if the injuries the man sustained from his futile attempt to assert his dominance, his tussle with the animal also cost him some money from being fined for provoking the animal. The only thing he proved that day was how embarrassing he is for the human species.
